New Year starts with cheers & coffee in the Comrades Hall

There were lots of parties in Broadwindsor on New Year’s Eve – the White Lion was packed with people, lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves, and just before midnight people gathered in the Square to welcome the New Year in, as I was on duty again as Community Responder on New Years Day I didn’t stay out too long, some people not getting home until 4am – wise decision on my part as my first call out was at 8am, my second was at 12noon, then a nice quiet afternoon. On Friday the 2nd the Post Office service was back in the Comrades Hall, thanks to Dorothy for volunteering to make the Coffee’s, the Post Office open’s at 10am and by 11am there were so many people more chairs had to be put out, I couldn’t stay all morning as I was still on shift and had another call out.

Best wishes for a Happy, Healthy New Year to everyone

I work with you and for you, I make things happen – I’m here to help everybody.
