I received a telephone call from a Drimpton Resident at 8.15am this morning to say Asbestos Roofing Sheets had been dumped in Netherhay Lane – I went over to see for myself as some forms of Asbestos are classed as hazardous waste – the photo shows that there are a lot of corrugated roofing sheets by the side of the highway, as whoever dumped them there would have to drive there, probably in a van – why dump them in a lane rather than drive 5 more miles to the Crewkerne recycling centre – I do hope if anyone see’s somebody dumping rubbish they will note down the details & report it to me if they don’t want to report it themselves.
