Public Access Defibrillator installed at Kittwhistle Garage
A PAD (Public Access Defibrillator) purchased with help from The British Heart Foundation, has been installed at Kittwhistle Garage by The Broadwindsor Community Responders & BADCE – this defibrillator is in addition to the one in the Responder vehicle, which, because of diminishing numbers of Responders is unable to attend all local callouts.
Defibrillators are incredibly easy to operate and a FREE training course run by Red Cross Trainer, Phil Lathey for all interested people, this will be held in Blackdown Hall at 7.30pm Tuesday 29th July
Grateful thanks go to Rowland Hibbard for allowing the PAD to be installed on his premises and to Philip Hardwill of PH Hardwill’s for helping with the installation and Phil Lathey who will be providing the defibrillator training
